ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – As the St. Louis Blues prepare to open their new season this week, the team is also highlighting community programs designed to engage young fans both on and off the ice.
The Blues have launched their second year of “Louie’s Little Library,” a reading initiative that partners with eight local ice rinks to create “book nooks” where children can access books and develop literacy skills.
The Blues are also working to make hockey more accessible through their “Learn to Play” program. The initiative helps introduce children to the sport through structured skating lessons.
