If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
That has to be the motto for former Belleville Bull David Tomasek.
Tomasek played for the former Ontario Hockey League team between 2013 and 2015.
In his 119 regular season games with the Bulls, he amassed 58 points.
After leaving Tomasek would go onto play professional hockey in Europe, predominantly in Czechia, his home country.
He also spent time in Sweden, where he finished the 2024-25 season with the most goals, assists, and points in the league. Tomasek would also win league M.V.P honours.
On Wednesday October 8, 2025, Tomasek made his NHL debut with the Edmonton Oilers.
In that debut he assisted on Leon Draisaitl’s 400th NHL goal.
