SALT LAKE CITY — Hockey fever is back! The Utah Mammoth are dropping the puck on their pre-season home opener at the newly renovated Delta Center. Excitement is building ahead of their first game against the Los Angeles Kings. But the pre-season opener is about more than a game — it’s about planting roots, building culture and showing Utah hockey is here to stay.

From brand-new jerseys to fan activations, it’s all part of The Mammoth’s mission to make their mark in Utah.

Excitement hit early as The Mammoth Team Store opened its doors, giving fans the first chance to get their hands on the official Mammoth jerseys.

Inside the store, fans managed to snag some of the first Mammoth jerseys, whether it was the sleek black home jersey with the Mammoth mountain logo, or the crisp white away jersey with the Utah star-step design. For many, it wasn’t just merch, it was history in the making.

Another first: fans stepping inside a reimagined Delta Center. Phase one of renovations aimed at enhancing the fan experience is complete. From the plaza to the concourse, The Mammoth are working to create a community, and the first game is step one.

As the puck drops at the Delta Center, The Mammoth are not just testing their roster, they’re testing their brand, their building and their connection to fans. Win or lose on the ice, team leaders said success will be measured by excitement, energy and fans walking out wanting more.
