LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The season opener for the Vegas Golden Knights is tonight, and the team will be facing off against the Los Angeles Kings.
The two Pacific Division teams will be facing off in Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on the Strip. The Golden Knights had a 50-22-10 record overall last season while going 20-7-4 against other Pacific Division teams.

Neither team has any injuries listed, according to the Associated Press.

The Golden Knights are co-favorites with their Pacific Division rival, the Edmonton Oilers, at BetMGM Sportsbook to win the Stanley Cup this year. The Golden Knights lost in the second round to Edmonton last season.
Players to watch this year are Jack Eichel and Mitch Marner, according to the Associated Press. The two combined for 196 points last season, and both are playmakers. Eichel is in the final season of his eight-year, $80 million contract. Marner left his hometown team in Toronto in a deal that landed him with an eight-year, $96 million contract.
