The 0-2 Islanders’ homestand continues tonight with a visit from the Winnipeg Jets, who’ve opened the season by announcing a long-term extension with one of their franchise players, Kyle Connor, who promptly scored a hat trick in their season-opening loss.
With some line mixups during Saturday’s home opener, no wins yet, and Jonathan Drouin returning from a one-game suspension, Patrick Roy shuffled the lines a bit. Mat Barzal will be playing with a couple of shooters:
