Hunter Skoczylas shares his top NHL player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s four-game slate.

We have a four-game NHL slate tonight, which means there will be plenty of player prop bet options to choose from. The Flames played in Nevada against the Golden Knights last night and had to travel overnight for tonight’s tilt against the Mammoth at 9:30 p.m. ET. The other three matchups are Sabres vs. Senators, Red Wings vs. Panthers and Blues vs. Blackhawks.

Here are my favorite three NHL player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday, October 15.

Best NHL props for Wednesday 10/15/25

Tage Thompson to Record 4+ Shots on Goal (-115)

Thompson ranks first in the NHL in shot attempts per 60 and sixth in shots on goal per 60 across Buffalo’s first three games of the season. He has also cleared this line in each game while averaging 10.7 shot attempts per game. The 27-year-old is the Sabres’ primary source of offense, as he is the only player on the team to have scored a goal and recorded double-digit shots on goal. The Sabres look like the worst team in the NHL to start the season, but Thompson has played much better at home. He has found success against this Senators team in the past, too, clearing this line in three of the past five meetings with shot totals of 8, 5 and 11. Pairing his SOG prop with his anytime goalscorer prop, set at +135, is intriguing, and it is the most bet NHL player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s slate.

Frank Nazar to Record 1+ Point (-110)

The 21-year-old leads the Blackhawks with five points through four games and should continue his strong play against a Blues squad that has allowed 3.0 goals per game and 9 5v5 high-danger chances through their first three games. Nazar leads his team in both 5v5 points per 60 and 5v5 assists per 60, too. While he failed to record a point in three meetings against St. Louis in 2024, he averaged just 14:00 minutes of ice time in a middle-six role. Now, he’s commanding the second line and ranks behind only Connor Bedard in ice time per game among Blackhawks’ forwards.

Dylan Guenther to Record 1+ Assist (+125)

Guenther has been Utah’s main contributor to start the new season, leading the team in points (4) as the only Mammoth player to record more than one goal and assist. He ranks first in both 5v5 points per 60 and 5v5 assists per 60, and has made it a point to get the puck on the net often, averaging 9.0 shot attempts per game. The 22-year-old posted 33 assists in 2024 and now commands the second line with young talent such as Logan Cooley and JJ Peterka. Guenther sees less ice time than only Clayton Keller among Mammoth forwards, so the opportunities will be there all night against a Flames squad that ranks first in 5v5 goals allowed above expected.
