Hampus Lindholm returned to practice on Wednesday ahead of the Bruins’ three-game desert/mountain road trip that begins on Thursday in Las Vegas.

Lindholm has been out of action since the first period of the second game when he suffered a lower-body injury against the Chicago Blackhawks.

According to Bruins coach Mark Sturm, he’s still officially day-to-day.

Jordan Harris, who signed with the Bruins as a free agent during the offseason, played well in his spot with an assist against Buffalo and a goal on Monday in the 4-3 loss to Tampa.

Lindholm, who skated before the team on Monday, practiced with Andrew Peeke, his regular partner at practice with Harris swapping in.

It wasn’t clear what caused the injury. Lindholm played six shifts and was last on the ice with just over 8 minutes left in the first period.

After the game, Sturm characterized the injury as minor.

Lindholm, who suffered a kneecap injury on Nov. 12, 2024 and never returned last year, was fully healthy in training camp and played 20:01 against the Capitals in Boston’s season opener on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
