Adin Hill left the Vegas Golden Knights game after the first period with an apparent injury. The Golden Knights are north of the border, taking on the Calgary Flames.

Four games into the season, the Golden Knights are already down Brett Howden, who is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, and Noah Hanifin. Now, it seems like their starting goaltender will be added to the injury report.

Before exiting the game, Hill allowed two goals in ten shots. However, he didn’t have a particularly yank-worthy outing. He made a few great saves, including one on a Blake Coleman breakaway and another after losing his mask.

Akira Schmid replaced Hill to start the second period. Hill never returned to the bench, indicating that Bruce Cassidy didn’t pull him for performance-related issues.

UPDATE: After the second period, Daren Millard and Darren Eliot discussed Hill’s status during the intermission report. Millard disclosed that Hill left the game with a lower-body injury. They believe he suffered the injury while making a save without his mask.

FINAL UPDATE: Bruce Cassidy provided an update postgame on Adin Hill’s status. “[Adin Hill] has a lower-body injury. I don’t know how serious it’ll be.”
