John Tavares Leaves Game After High Hit and Non-Call on Senators Defenceman

Maple Leafs forward John Tavares was forced to leave Game 4 in overtime after a high hit from Senators defenceman.
In a game that has had some questionable penalties and missed calls, one of the most obvious penalties went uncalled early in overtime.
As Tavares was skating in the middle of the ice in the Senators zone, he was hit by Sens defenceman Artem Zub in the head with a shoulder.
Tavares was shaken up on the play and remained on the ice for a moment before skating directly to the bench.
There was no penalty on the play, which was blatantly a hit to the head.
Tavares remained on the bench momentarily before heading down to the tunnel to the Leafs dressing room and as of writing has not returned to the bench.
While the Leafs got a four-minute power-play moments later, calling a penalty on one of the Senators top defencemen in overtime could have drastically changed the game.
It is unlikely Zub will face supplemental discipline but you can be sure it will be talked about after the game.
***Update, 10:17pm — John Tavares has returned to thr bench for the Maple Leafs***
