A 10 PM Eastern start?! In this economy?!
Yes, it’ll be the Bruins vs. the Golden Knights, far, far past my bedtime as the B’s begin a three-game trip through the western United States.
While we’ve all been impressed by the Bruins’ spirited start to the season, including the fight back-ability (just go with it, it’s a word) in Monday’s loss to Tampa, this trip should serve as a good measuring stick as to where this team is at the moment.
Vegas and Colorado both have Stanley Cup aspirations and are always tough places to play, so let’s see what the Bruins are made of.
If any of you fine folks have been to a game in Vegas, share your experience in the comments. I feel like their game presentation/general atmosphere gets a lot of press, but also wonder if it’s truly that different.
