The Carolina Hurricanes remain undefeated as they outscored the Anaheim Ducks, 4-1 on Thursday night in Anaheim.

The win gives them a 4-0 record, best in the league.

They also have a league best, +11 goal differential, 19 GF 8 GA.

Frederik Andersen had a great night between the pipes as he made 23 saves on the 24 shots he faced.

The Canes outshot the Ducks in every period and ended up with a 31-24 advantage.

Seth Jarvis scored two goals on the night and started off the scoring later in the first with he knocked in a rebound off of a Shayne Gostisbehere shot.

That goal gave Jarvis a total of 100 NHL goals in his young career.

Gostisbehere also had a tremendous night and finished with three assists.

Jarvis scored his second midway through the second period making the score, 2-0. He finished a pretty shot from a Jackson Blake pass during a powerplay.

The Ducks made it 2-1, a minute and change later but the Hurricanes broke the game open in the third.

First, Alexander Nikishin scored his first career NHL goal with a pretty shot and then Sebastian Aho knocked in a rebound from a Seth Jarvis shot, after Jarvis made a beautiful steal a moment earlier.

Carolina went 1-3 on the powerplay and killed all of Anaheim’s attempts this night.

The Canes will next face the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.
