Montreal Canadiens fans can breathe a sigh of relief as, according to Renaud Lavoie, the injury Kaiden Guhle suffered Thursday night against Nashville does not appear to be serious.
Guhle left the game against the Nashville Predators after appearing to be in significant pain at the end of the third period.
And given Guhle’s injury history, many (myself included) feared reliving the same scenario as last year.

I’m so happy to share that, fortunately, the first news seems very positive.
Renaud Lavoie calms concerns over Kaiden Guhle’s injury
During his appearance on BPM Sports on the show Le Club du matin, Renaud Lavoie indicated that the situation surrounding Kaiden Guhle did not seem alarming.
He explained that, in his opinion, neither the Canadiens nor Guhle were worried about his short-term health.
“What I’ve been told is that after the game he was feeling fine and there was no concern from the Canadiens’ side.”
– Renaud Lavoie
In short, in other words, there is no reason to panic at the moment, even though the team still prefers to evaluate the player’s condition day by day.
An update that will be reassuring for fans, especially as the Canadiens have had so much momentum over the past week.
But this time, it seems the worst has been avoided.
No need to remind you that Guhle is so important to the team’s success, so his health is paramount for the Canadiens this season.
