The Toronto Maple Leafs have one change to their roster as they get set to face the Seattle Kraken.

The Toronto Maple Leafs make a minor roster move as the team takes on Seattle, with forward Calle Jarnkrok coming out of the lineup for Steven Lorentz.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will go with the same lineup as last time beyond that one change, with Anthony Stolarz once again the starter for Toronto.

Steven Lorentz Officially In, Calle Jarnkrok Out

Steven Lorentz slots in for the Toronto Maple Leafs after being injured against the Detroit Red Wings, sidelining him for Toronto’s last two matches.

Lorentz practiced for the Leafs against the Rangers as William Nylander was unavailable for morning skate, but ultimately did not come into the lineup as Craig Berube wanted to keep the lines intact.

Berube called tonight’s decision a “numbers game”, making it that Jarnkrok will be part of the rotation in the Leafs lineup that will change its look depending on the matchup, but giving each player equal opportunity.

Jarnkrok is second in goals among Leafs with three, but has not scored in his last two games after a goal in each of his first three. Lorentz has two assists in two games this season for Toronto.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have won their last two games to go to 3-2-0 on the season. Seattle lost to Ottawa 4-3 in overtime, their third straight game playing past regulation. Seattle is 2-0-2 in four games so far.
