Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point has been named one of three finalists for the 2024-25 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to the NHL player who best combines sportsmanship, gentlemanly conduct, and high-level playing ability. He is joined by Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel and Los Angeles Kings captain Anze Kopitar.

Point finished the regular season with just one minor penalty and seven total penalty minutes across 77 games — all while continuing to excel offensively. Point tallied 42 goals and 82 points with a plus-17 rating.

This is Point’s second time in the Lady Byng conversation; he finished third in voting for the award following the 2022-23 season.

Now in his ninth NHL season, all with the Lightning, Point has compiled 635 career points (306 goals, 329 assists) in 657 games, with just 149 penalty minutes and a career plus-77 rating.
