How many teams make the District One field hockey playoffs?

In total, 46 teams qualified for the District One field hockey playoffs; of those, 16 are Bucks County area teams.

In Class 3A, 24 out of 36 teams qualified for the playoffs; in Class 2A, 16 of 29 teams made the tournament, and six out of 12 Class 1A teams made the cut. 

How many teams from each class will advance to the PIAA Field Hockey Championships?

Class 3A has seven PIAA qualifiers; Class 2A has five and Class 1A will send two teams to states

When do the District One playoffs take place?

The playoffs begin Monday, Oct. 20, for Class 3A; and Tuesday, Oct. 21, for Classes 2A and 1A. The district playoffs conclude Nov. 1 for all three classes. 

These teams earned byes and won’t be playing in the first round of the District One Playoffs:

In Class 1A, No. 2 New Hope-Solebury has a bye and will begin play in the semifinals on Oct. 28.  In Class 3A, No. 3 CB West and No. 5 Souderton have first-round byes and will begin play on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
