It appears the Maple Leafs are shaking up their lines following an overtime loss to the Seattle Karken on Saturday night.

Max Domi has been bumped up to the top line alongside Matthew Knies and Auston Matthews while rookie Easton Cowan skated as an extra.

Steven Lorentz was also moved to centre on the fourth line.

It appears Jakub Dobes will get his third start of the 2025-26 season after he was the first goalie to leave the morning skate on Monday as the Habs prepare to host the Buffalo Sabres.

The 24-year-old native of Czechia is 2-0 with a 1.46 goals-against average this season. He posted a 2.74 goals-against average and .909 save percentage over 16 games in 2024-25, his rookie year in the NHL.

Both Patrik Laine and Kirby Dach, who are considered day-to-day with injuries, were not on the ice for Monday’s skate.

Forward Jared McCann is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play Monday against the Philadelphia Flyers, the team announced.

Forward Marco Rossi and defenceman Zach Bogosian are each out Monday against the New York Rangers, head coach John Hynes said via Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
