Another week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings‘ weekly prospect update. Goaltender Hampton Slukynsky highlighted this week’s prospect update. Slukynsky started both for Western Michigan University and made 36 saves on 37 shots (.973 sv%) combined in both games. He stopped 17 of 18 shots in Friday’s game and recorded his first shutout of the season, making 19 saves in Saturday’s game.

Slukynsky was also named the game’s third star on Saturday for his performance.

The fourth-round pick by the Kings in 2023 has a 3-1-0 record with a 2.02 goals-against average and an .890 save percentage with one shutout in four games. WMU will have a home-and-home series against Michigan this weekend.
