The Nashville Predators host the Anaheim Ducks at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 21, looking to end their three-game losing streak.

The Predators are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Oct. 18. Connor Hellebuyck made 30 saves in the win for the Jets, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period and were never challenged.

“We’ve got to have better starts than we did today,” captain Roman Josi said after the loss. “And we’ve got to find a way to score some goals.”

Nashville’s offense is scoring only 2.5 goals per game, less than last season’s rate. Most of that is because the power play has started 2-for-23 (8.9%), the third-worst rate in the league.

The Predators will be without Jonathan Marchessault for the second consecutive game, coach Andrew Brunette confirmed after the morning skate. Also, rookie Brady Martin will get back into the lineup for Nashville, playing in just his third NHL game.

Anaheim (2-2-1, 5 points) lost 2-1 to the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 19, shut down by goaltender Spencer Knight’s 38-save performance. Leo Carlsson leads the Ducks with two goals and four assists in five games.

Juuse Saros will start in net for Nashville, while Anaheim will choose between Lukas Dostal and Petr Mrazek.

The Nashville Predators vs. Anaheim Ducks game will be televised by FanDuel Sports Network South with streaming available via FUBO and ESPN+ (outside of the Nashville TV market).
