On Monday, Vegas Golden Knights starting goaltender Adin Hill exited the game against the Carolina Hurricanes in the first period. This exit comes just a week after a close call against the Calgary Flames.
Here is the play where Hill got injured:
Alexander Nikishin fired a shot from the point through traffic. The puck took a bounce off Zach Whitecloud’s skate and went wide, and Hill reacted. Nothing touched him, but he immediately fell to the ice.
Hill stayed down for quite some time. When Zach Whitecloud and William Karlsson helped him up, he couldn’t put any weight on his left leg. They helped him off the ice; once there, members of the team staff helped him down the tunnel.
“He didn’t come back, as you know,” said Cassidy postgame. “That’s not good right away.”
The Golden Knights have a scheduled off-day on Tuesday.
