After beating the Buffalo Sabres, the Montreal Canadiens players celebrated not just their win but also the Blue Jays’ victory, filling the locker room with excitement.

But this time, it wasn’t just because of hockey.

As the media gathered in the locker room for post-game reactions, the Canadiens players already had another game on their minds.

And yes, you guessed it, it was the Toronto Blue Jays’ game…

Evans had a very strong game, in my view, scoring on an empty net and dominating the faceoffs.

A Locker Room Turned Into a Baseball Night

Evans answered a few questions, but it was clear his mind was elsewhere. Laughing, he left the reporters to join his teammates in the lounge.

A few seconds later, cheers erupted behind the cameras.

The Canadiens players were celebrating both their win and George Springer’s home run, which had just given the Toronto Blue Jays the lead.

Even Jakub Dobes, during an interview, had to stop upon hearing the commotion.

“I thought the Jays had already booked their vacation in Cancun, but it looks like they’re coming back now!” – Juraj Slafkovsky

You could also hear the players celebrating in the background:

“I’m not really a into baseball, but Gally made me a Blue Jays fan. He said I didn’t have a choice, so it’s cool what they’re doing right now!”

It’s clear that Brendan Gallagher infected the locker room with his passion for the Jays.

Between the win on the ice and the one in baseball, it was an incredible night for sports fans!
