Lexi Ares and Addy Almeida each scored and earned an assist, pacing Mahar on offense.
“I was so happy to see the soccer gods reward the girls tonight,” Senators coach Chad Softic said. “They have been battling all year and lost a ton of one-goal games and had several scoreless ties, so to see the ball go in the net was great. Credit to our back four of Cordelia Rhodes (sweeper), Jenna Nolette (stopper), Stella Moore and Isla Burnham who have been rock-solid all season. Autumn Cleveland came in and played great for Kenzie who was nicked up. Lexi and Addy will be a combination for years to come and it was just a great team effort with so many girls contributing.”
