The Dallas Stars are looking to snap a three-game losing skid Thursday night against the Los Angeles Kings.

Matt Duchene will again not be a part of the proceedings.

Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan said the veteran forward remains out of the lineup for a second straight game as he recovers from an injury suffered against Minnesota on Oct. 14. Duchene is still considered “day-to-day.”

Duchene briefly returned to the lineup over the weekend, skating 15:51 of ice time in a 3-1 loss to St. Louis on Saturday. But he sat out Tuesday’s loss to Columbus and will sit again Thursday.

Jake Oettinger, Gulutzan said, will be in the net against the Kings as the Stars hope to rediscover their winning ways on home ice.
