Stars goalie Jake Oettinger led his team to a victory in Game 3 with the help of about 19,000 friends.

It was a raucous Mother’s Day crowd at American Airlines Center for the Stars’ 5-2 win over Winnipeg on Sunday, a victory that gives Dallas a 2-1 series lead against the Jets.

With much of the hype in this series revolving around soon-to-be three-time Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck, Oettinger has gone toe-to-toe with the Jets’ goalie, and the AAC crowd let him know it. Chants of “Otter’s better” were breaking out at points throughout the game.

Check out other reactions from the win below, including more amazement from Mikko Rantanen, who even had a former teammate chime in about the former Avs’ current hot streak.

Final: Stars 5, Jets 2

A dominant win for Dallas on home ice.

Mikko Rantanen has another three-point performance. Alexander Petrovic scores the game winner. And Connor Hellebuyck still looks shaky on the road.

Stars take a 2-1 lead. We’ll be back here Tuesday for Game 4.

Mikko Rantanen scores his ninth goal of the playoffs.

He has been on the ice for all four Stars goals and scored or assisted on three of them.

He is simply unbelievable.

4-2 Stars

I’ll have to check old box scores but I believe that is Mikko Rantanen’s first playoff goal as a member of the Dallas Stars.

Rantanen has gone intergalactic. He’s now full blown matrix level. He is the one. Just insane. Jets need a response quick. Dammit!!! pic.twitter.com/mnaoLDMu2A
