BOSTON — Franklin’s Mike Callahan will make his 2025-26 NHL debut on Thursday against the Mighty Ducks.
With Hampus Lindholm out for the third straight game and Jordan Harris on injured reserve, Callahan, who was called up from Providence on Wednesday, will slot into the Bruins lineup.
Callahan, 26, had a goal and one fight in 17 games for Boston last year.
Lindholm suffered an undisclosed lower-body injury in the second game of the season. After the game, Sturm characterized the injury, which wasn’t related to last year’s season-ending knee injury, as minor.
Lindholm was a full participant in training camp and played 20:01 against the Capitals in Boston’s season opener in Washington, D.C.
Lindholm missed the next three games, but returned to action on Saturday against the Avalanche, but hasn’t played since.
