BOSTON — For the second straight game, the Bruins wasted a dramatic comeback.
After scoring two goals in 25 seconds to climb out of a two-goal hole, Boston gave up a goal to Troy Terry with their defenseman out of position with 4:33 left to propel the Ducks to a 7-5 win at TD Garden.
The loss was the Bruins’ sixth straight, putting the Boston’s season-starting three-game win streak further in the rearview mirror.

The Bruins led 1-0 and 2-1 on goals by Casey Mittlestadt and Morgan Geekie and they were tied 3-3 after the second period thanks to Mason Lohrei’s first goal of the season.
Boston was slow out of the gates in the third and Anaheim looked ready to coast when they scored the first two goals. But David Pastrnak scored a power play goal with 5:28 remaining and Geekie added his second of the night, 25 seconds later, to make it 5-5 with 5:03 left.
But the infusion of excitement didn’t last long at TD Garden as Terry scored 30 seconds later. Mikael Granlund slid in an empty-netter to seal it.
Joonas Korpisalo made 23 saves in the loss as the Bruins outshot Anaheim 41-30.
