Seeing a Vancouver Canucks game isn’t cheap.
And unfortunately, it isn’t about to get any cheaper.
Not only have ticket prices continued to climb, but beer prices at Rogers Arena are on the rise as well.
If there’s a sliver of good news for Canucks fans, it’s that beer prices have climbed modestly, not dramatically.
The cheapest price for beer at a Canucks game is now $9.75 ($11.21 after taxes), for a 12-ounce cup of Molson Canadian or Coors Light.
Meanwhile, a 24-ounce cup of beer from Granville Island Brewing costs a whopping $23.49 ($27.01 after taxes).

Prices have gone up by just 26 cents for 12-ounce beers, while 24-ounce beers have seen a 50-cent increase. Here’s how the current prices (pre-tax) compare to last season:
Molson or Coors Light (12 oz): $9.75 (up from $9.49)
Molson or Coors Light (24 oz): $19.49 (up from $18.99)
Granville Island (12 oz): $11.75 (up from $11.49)
Granville Island (24 oz): $23.49 (up from $22.99)
While it’s certainly not cheap to drink at the game, the price increases are up on average about 2.4 per cent, right in line with inflation in Canada over the previous year.
It’s cheaper to drink at Canucks games compared to prices for seeing the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena. However, it is cheaper to drink at Calgary Flames games, at least on a per-ounce basis.
Even though Calgary and Vancouver share the same supplier, Molson, the Calgarians still have an advantage in terms of beer prices compared to Canucks fans.
