Utah Mammoth forward Alexander Kerfoot to miss more than two months following muscle surgery
Originally listed as week-to-week with a lower-body injury back in Mid-September, Kerfoot missed every preseason game during training camp and will not make his regular season debut until at least late December or early January according to the team.

Serving as an alternate captain for the club a year ago, Kerfoot’s veteran presence will continue to be missed as he contributed heavily on the PK last season while also registering 28 points (11G, 17A).
Based on the team’s projection, Kerfoot will miss nearly half the season before he’s able to return.
In his absence, Michael Carcone and Liam O’Brien will continue to see minutes.
Sean Durzi to miss a month with an upper-body injury
The Utah Mammoth is expected to be without the services of defenseman Sean Durzi for four weeks after he suffered an upper-body injury in a win over Nashville.
