The Nashville Predators host the Los Angeles Kings at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 25, looking to build on their 2-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 23.
The win over the Canucks broke a four-game losing streak and seemed to be a step in the right direction. But then at morning skate, coach Andrew Brunette announced captain Roman Josi is dealing with an upper-body injury that will keep him out “week to week.”
Brunette added that Nic Hague, who signed a four-year deal with the Predators in July, is a game-time decision, so he could be nearing his debut for Nashville (3-3-2, 8 points). Hague skated with Adam Wilsby at morning skate, taking Josi’s place on the top pairing.
Los Angeles (3-3-2, 8) beat Dallas 3-2 in overtime on Oct. 23, clinching it on Adrian Kempe’s goal just 37 seconds into the overtime period. Kempe leads the Kings with four goals and seven assists in eight games. Former Predators winger Kevin Fiala has four goals for the Kings this season.
Juuse Saros should start for Nashville, while the Kings will either start Darcy Kuemper or Anton Forsberg. Follow below for live updates.
The Nashville Predators vs. Los Angeles Kings game will be televised by FanDuel Sports Network South with streaming available via FUBO and ESPN+ (outside of the Nashville TV market).
