The hockey world is in mourning following the sad announcement of the passing goaltender Jake Patterson.

“The OHL is deeply saddened by the passing of London Knights alumnus, Jake Patterson. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the Knights organization”

Goaltender Patterson leaves behind his family, friends, and many wonderful people, including his partner Chelsea and their three-and-a-half-year-old son, Luca.

It breaks the heart, he was still so young!

Sudden death of Jake Patterson: the hockey world is in mourning and former Montreal Canadiens player Max Domi reacts immediately

We are honestly speechless.

Max Domi, now a player for the Toronto Maple Leafs, paid tribute to him on Instagram.

“So many incredible memories with our team. You will be missed, Patty”

– Max Domi

It must be said that Domi was Patterson’s teammate in London from 2011 to 2014.

Jake Patterson, who was only 31 years old, was a 6-foot-1, 191-pound goaltender who won a major championship with the London Knights in 2012-2013.

During his two seasons as a goaltender in London, he posted records of 19-6-2 and 22-9-3, which is obviously very solid!

Our most heartfelt thoughts go out to his family and loved ones, including his wonderful wife and their beautiful 3-year-old boy.

We at HabsFanatics would like to extend our deepest condolences to Jake Patterson’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
