IOWA CITY, Iowa — The 10th-ranked Iowa field hockey team closed out its home schedule in style, blanking 13th-ranked Michigan 2–0 at Grant Field. Dionne van Aalsum broke the scoreless tie in the third quarter with a rocket off a penalty corner — her 13th goal in 15 games. Late in the fourth, Lieve van Kessel found Gia Whalen for a diving deflection to seal it. The Hawkeyes finish their home slate and will wrap up the regular season Friday at Ohio State.
