If we’re to believe Renaud Lavoie’s recent comments, it seems almost inevitable that we’ll one day see Sidney Crosby wearing a Canadiens jersey.
Mike Matheson can convince Sidney Crosby to join the Montreal Canadiens (and he’s going to try to do it)

Sidney [Crosby] just needs to say yes.”

As we know, Mike Matheson and Sidney Crosby were teammates with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and according to Lavoie, the two are very close friends.

Those are very encouraging words for anyone who dreams of seeing number 87 in a red, white, and blue jersey.
I can’t wait to see what happens in this situation-especially if the Pittsburgh Penguins struggle once again and miss the 2025-2026 playoffs.
Let’s hope Matheson brings some strong arguments to his good friend Crosby!
