Bridgeport Islanders Weekly Update:

Sunday: BRIDGEPORT 1, PROVIDENCE 4 

Providence, RI – The Islanders went to Providence after a perfect road outing on Friday night and they stood against a Bruins team with a perfect record. During the game on Sunday, the Islanders battled hard against their Atlantic Division opponents in the hopes of winning their second game on the road in a row. Friday: BRIDGEPORT 3, HARTFORD 0 

Hartford, CT – It was the first road game of the season for the Bridgeport Islanders as they battled a division and in-state rival, the Hartford Wolf Pack. Coming off a loss in their previous game, the Islanders were looking for a bounce-back performance, and they were poised for a battle against the top affiliate of the New York Rangers on Friday night. Head Coach Rocky Thompson’s victory on Friday night against Hartford was his 115th coaching win as head coach in the American Hockey League. 
Goaltender Marcus Hogberg’s shutout on Friday at Hartford was his first AHL shutout since November 16th, 2019, against the Milwaukee Admirals.Â
