After a 3-2 loss to the Dallas Stars on Oct. 26, the Nashville Predators host the Tampa Bay Lightning at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 28.

The Predators’ offense continues to struggle, scoring two goals or fewer in seven of their first 10 games. Part of the problem is their power play, which is hitting at a 9.7% rate, second-worst in the NHL.

Ryan O’Reilly leads Nashville (4-4-2, 10 points) with five goals, four assists, but they desperately need someone else to start scoring goals.

Tampa Bay (3-4-2, 8 points) beat the Vegas Golden Knights 2-1 on Oct. 26 behind an 18-save performance from Andrei Vasilevskiy. Jake Guentzel leads the Lightning with four goals, six assists in nine games.

It should be Vasilevskiy in net for Lightning, while the Predators will go with Juuse Saros.

This game will start at 6:45 p.m., rather than the usual 7 p.m., because it’s part of the NHL’s “Frozen Frenzy.” All 32 teams will play on Oct. 28 and ESPN2 will broadcast “whip-around” coverage from 6 p.m to 7:30 p.m. CT.
