Mayo was recalled by the Blue Jackets on Thursday.
Mayo spent some time with the Blue Jackets last week, but he didn’t appear in any games. He’ll rejoin the NHL club to provide additional depth while Erik Gudbranson deals with a hip injury. Over five regular-season appearances with AHL Cleveland this year, Mayo has recorded four assists and four PIM.
