“Home Means Nevada” will ring true for the Golden Knights’ game tonight against the Colorado Avalanche with puck drop being at 1 p.m. PT. While today is the spooky day everybody has been waiting for, it also doubles as Nevada’s holiday that commemorates the state’s admission to the Union in 1864.
Fans in attendance tonight are encouraged to dress in white to match the Golden Knights’ specially designed Nevada Day jerseys for their home contest. Halloween costumes are also welcome, though arena staff reserve the right to deny entry to guests wearing attire with offensive text or imagery. Fans planning to arrive in costume are advised to review T-Mobile Arena’s guidelines before heading out.

The Golden Knights will hit the ice wearing limited-edition jerseys featuring this year’s Nevada Day logo, paying tribute to the Nevada state quarter rendered in a vibrant stained-glass style. The design draws inspiration from Las Vegas’ iconic stained-glass installations, including Tropicana’s Barrel Dome, once considered the largest of its kind in the world.
Signed by players, these commemorative jerseys will be available for auction beginning at 11:45 a.m. PT and closing at 3 p.m. PT. Fans can bid by visiting VGKNevadaDay.givesmart.com or texting “VGKNevadaDay” to 76278. Attendees can view the jerseys in person in Sections 11 and 12 on the concourse. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the VGK Foundation’s ongoing community initiatives with the Clark County School District.
Additional Nevada Day t-shirts, sweatshirts, decals, and limited-edition pucks will be available for purchase at The Armory inside T-Mobile Arena and The Arsenal inside City National Arena.
As part of the celebration, Travel Nevada’s “Ultimate Hockey Experience” sweepstakes awarded one lucky fan and three guests tickets to tonight’s game. The winners will enjoy official Golden Knights jerseys, premium transportation to and from the arena, and exclusive access to the postgame press conference.
