Pittsburgh Penguins News & Notes:
The Pittsburgh Penguins head into Canada Life Centre to open the November portion of the 2025-26 season schedule. Pittsburgh is looking to extend its season-opening point streak with a win or a regulation win or loss against the Jets.
Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:
The Winnipeg Jets are coming off back-to-back wins against Central Division opponents, leaving them tied for first place in their division. The return of Adam Lowry is imminent, but losing a key component of the team’s top six in Gustav Nyquist is not great. Nyquist joins an injured group in Dylan Samberg, Cole Perfetti, and Adam Lowry, as the Jets’ 2025 free agent signing is listed as day-to-day.

Players To Watch:
Pittsburgh Penguins
Justin Brazeau has gotten off to a hot start with Pittsburgh, and if he can continue this streak, Winnipeg could be put on notice.
Bryan Rust is another hot-start player for the Penguins, and if he can continue his dominance, it could be a good sign for the Penguins, who are looking to extend their point streak.
Winnipeg Jets
Gabriel Vilardi has scored a lot for the Jets to start the season, and his production has kept them in games and certainly won just as many.
Morgan Barron is another player to watch for Winnipeg. He’s been a workhorse to start the year, and another strong outing could solidify that.
