Halloween 2025 might officially be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t revel in all the spooky and stunning costumes that have come out of this year’s event. Celebrities from Kim Kardashian to Justin Bieber have gotten into the Halloween spirit with their own looks, but what are the stars of the NHL and their wives and girlfriends — known as WAGs — getting up to?

Carey Price, Angela Price and kids
The Price family went as different Power Rangers members, with the B.C.-born NHLer in a blue suit and his wife in a black suit. Their three kids — Liv, Lincoln and Millie — wore yellow, red and pink suits to complete the team.

The newlywed Laine family dressed up as Buzz Lightyear and Jessie from Toy Story. The Montreal Canadiens right winger’s wife shared a funny video of their dog, Boogie, feeling uncertain about their Halloween looks.

The Colorado Avalanche forward and his partner tapped into the Wicked hype, with the NHLer turning into Elphaba and Mertlová becoming Glinda.
Dante Fabbro and Scottie Spiegelman
The New Westminster, B.C.-born NHLer and his partner twinned in their costumes of The Lorax. The Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman and Spiegelman were bright orange in their skin-tight suits, with yellow bushy moustaches and eyebrows to add another touch.

The Washington Capitals captain and his wife teamed up with a couple’s costume consisting of Roman-style soldiers.

The Montreal Canadiens defenceman turned into Frankenstein’s monster, while his wife complemented the look as the Bride of Frankenstein.
Brendan Gallagher and Emma Fortin
The Montreal Canadiens alternate captain and his wife dressed up as prisoners, while they put their baby daughter, Everly, into a police officer outfit.
Tom Wilson and Taylor Pischke
The Toronto-born NHLer — who’s the alternate captain for the Washington Capitals — and his wife dressed up as the lead characters in Gladiator. They were Maximus and Lucilla, who were played by Russell Crowe and Connie Nielsen in the 2000 film.
Dylan Strome and Tayler Strome
The Mississauga, Ont.-born NHLer, who plays centre for the Washington Capitals, dressed as Willy Wonka, while his wife showed off her baby bump and portrayed Violet Beauregarde from the film.

The Detroit Red Wings trio wore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumes, dressing up as Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael from the franchise.

The Canadian-bred goaltender for the Detroit Red Wings dressed up as a dalmatian, while his wife turned into Cruella de Vil for the night.

The Swedish-born forward and his girlfriend dressed up as Barbie and Ken. Berggren wore a T-shirt that read “I am Kenough” and a doll box, while his partner wore a pink dress and white boots.

The Montreal Canadiens defenceman and his girlfriend dressed as the main characters from Up. Xhekaj was Russell, while Kielb stunned as Carl Fredricksen from the 2009 Pixar animated film.

The Petry family dressed up as characters from Disney franchise The Mighty Ducks. The Florida Panthers defenceman turned into Coach Bombay, while his wife was Michele McKay.

The Utah Mammoth defenceman and alternate captain wore a farmer costume, while his wife dressed up as a chicken. The family costume also saw their son, Fyodor, dressed as a baby chick.

The Karlssons and Smiths combined forces with their costumes by dressing up as Swedish pop group ABBA.

The London, Ont.-born winger and alternate captain for the Utah Mammoth wore a black cat costume, while his wife dressed up as a witch. They dressed their baby daughter, Isabel, as a bat.
Erik Gudbranson and Sarah Gudbranson
The Columbus Blue Jackets alternate captain and his family dressed as various versions of Spider-Man. The NHLer’s daughter joined in on the fun too, but wore parts of her Elsa costume from Disney’s Frozen.
The couple also shared an earlier costume they wore to a party, where the Ottawa-born player dressed as an astronaut and his partner was Britney Spears in her “Oops!… I Did It Again” music video.
