Vancouver Canucks defenceman Quinn Hughes returned to practice Sunday as the team held a session in Nashville ahead of their meeting with the Predators on Monday.

Hughes has missed the past four games due to a lower-body injury. Vancouver has gone 1-3 with their captain out of the lineup.

The 26-year-old has one goal and six assists for seven points in nine games so far this season, his eighth in Vancouver.

He had 16 goals and 60 assists for 76 points in 68 games last season while finishing third in Norris Trophy voting.

The Canucks currently sit sixth in the Pacific Division at 6-7-0 with 12 points in 13 games.
