LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Vegas Golden Knights fans can now collect rewards for buying snacks and merchandise while at the game.
The team announced the launch of a fan mobile wallet, called VGKPay, created in partnership with the IGT brand Everi.
According to the announcement, VGKPay is a payment system integrated into the team’s mobile app. Users can store their credit and debit cards and earn rewards in the wallet via spending at T-Mobile Arena and The Arsenal team store at City National Arena.
Fans can also view their order history and rewards balances while also bundling discounts and payment methods.
John Penhollow, president of business operations for the Golden Knights, said VGKPay creates a faster and more convenient checkout process.
“This initiative aligns with our commitment to improving and evolving the overall guest experience while recognizing and rewarding our most loyal fans,” Penhollow said in a statement.
The new mobile wallet is available ahead of the team’s upcoming home game against Detroit on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
