Rodrigues was forced to leave the game. He’s played a pivotal role for the Panthers this season, shifting from wing to center with captain Aleksander Barkov out for the year. Rodrigues began the game centering Florida’s top line between Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinhart.

Carlsson is in the midst of a breakout season with 18 points in 12 games. He’s never been suspended in his three-year NHL career.
