Though they cooled off, the Flyers were consistently doing the things head coach Rick Tocchet has been looking for. They were creating traffic, getting sticks in front of the net, and scoring on “hard ice”. The defense may have had a rough period, but the Flyers pulled out a gritty win against the Canadiens.
Daily Faceoff: The Owen Tippett trade chatter generated by Dave Pagnotta has quieted off. However, the Flyers’ recent struggles have once again raised questions about the future of their forward group. With contenders looking to bolster their middle-six forward cores, Anthony Di Marco wonders if Tippett’s days with the Flyers are numbered.
