Owen Pickering is back with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins after a brief four-game NHL stint that was not his best, but that’s where the story begins, not ends.
Pickering represents several storylines for the organization. It was a little bit surprising that he would again get a quick hook, but it was not unwarranted. Meanwhile, fellow rookie Harrison Brunicke’s fate is still to be determined.
