Three Players Reportedly Dealing With Injury Discomfort, Including One Particularly Concerning

As reported in a recent article from DansLesCoulisses, there are three injuries to monitor and report within the Montreal Canadiens organization.

First, and this is definitely the most concerning, defenseman Mike Matheson was injured late in the game. If there had been a practice today in Brossard, he apparently would have been absent.

You can watch the sequence here:

Needless to say, a Matheson injury would be a major blow for the Montreal Canadiens. That’s the first situation to keep an eye on.

The other two injuries to closely monitor involve Suzuki and Demidov.

That’s definitely another one to keep an eye on.

Finally, following last night’s game against the New Jersey Devils, it’s quite clear that the captain is playing through an injury:

“Matheson got hurt late in the game.
Let’s hope he’s okay, because the Habs can’t afford to be without a fully healthy Matheson.

And speaking of playing at full strength: Nick Suzuki is clearly dealing with a sore foot.

And Ivan Demidov briefly headed to the locker room during the game.”
