Carolina Hurricanes News & Notes:

The Carolina Hurricanes have had a strong season so far and are seeing their players start to gel more, which has led to the positive results so far. The Hurricanes won against the Sabres last night and will try to extend their win streak to four games tonight against Toronto.

Toronto Maple Leafs News & Notes:

The Toronto Maple Leafs have had a much greater November than October to this point, but are coming off a loss to the Boston Bruins last night. As the lines begin to further gel, Toronto will look to quickly get back into the win column tonight with a full 60-minute effort against a surging Hurricanes team.

Players To Watch:

Carolina Hurricanes

K’Andre Miller was one of the offseason additions for the Hurricanes and has scored six points in eight games so far for the team. Miller missed a couple of weeks with injury, but came back from his injury on November 6th, and has two assists in two games for the Hurricanes. Miller will look to keep building on his strong start to the season and tenure with the Hurricanes as he adapts to their systems.

Toronto Maple Leafs

With Caden Primeau claimed (by the Hurricanes) off waivers, and Joseph Woll getting some playing time with the Marlies before seeing game action with the Leafs, Dennis Hildeby is slated to get the start tonight. Hildeby was slated for the start before last night’s game, but after Stolarz was pulled after allowing four goals, Hildeby saw some playing time. He ultimately did relatively well with 19 saves on 20 shots and will look to build on that tonight. Hildeby is the top goaltending prospect for the Leafs and will look to continue to show his development and poise in the net.
