Outside of T-Mobile Arena, fans saw a new trailer featuring ADAM, a service robot designed by Las Vegas-based technology company RichTech Robotics.
On Oct. 27, both the Golden Knights and RichTech Robotics announced their partnership, one of the first instances of a major North American sports franchise working together with a service robotics company.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to redefining the fan experience through innovation and creativity,” said Golden Knights president of business operations John Penhollow in a statement. “Collaborating with Richtech Robotics enables us to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sports and entertainment, both on and off the ice.”
Earlier, select fans got to see ADAM in action at the VGK Foundation Gala on Nov. 2, where the service robot had the autographs of Golden Knights players written on it.
Saturday, however, was the first time that ADAM’s beverage service capabilities were introduced to the public. The pregame experience was just the beginning, however, as ADAM became the first robot to participate in the Golden Knights’ tradition of ringing the siren before the third period.
“Richtech was born in Las Vegas, and we couldn’t be more proud than to partner with our hometown team, the Golden Knights,” said RichTech Robotics president Matthew Casella. “Together, we’re showing how cutting-edge technology can bring new energy and excitement to hospitality and entertainment. ADAM has been training for this moment his whole life.”
ADAM will return for select games throughout the 2025-26 season, so fans will have more opportunities to enjoy the unique experience.
