Call-ups between the Rocket and Canadiens always spark reactions, especially with Jared Davidson shocking everyone with his strong start to the season this year too.
The young forward is getting a lot of attention… simply because of his production and his style of play.
Nothing is certain… but nothing is ruled out!
The Montreal Canadiens are closely watching Jared Davidson’s progression with the Laval Rocket
With eight goals already, Davidson finds himself among the Rocket’s leading scorers after eleven games.
“Jared Davidson strikes again..
That’s his 8th goal of the season in 11 games.
I don’t know about anyone else but I’d really enjoy seeing Davidson in MTL’s lineup for a few games instead of a guy who.. idk let’s just say his name rhymes with Moe Soprano.”

For a fifth-round pick, that’s not bad at all!
“He is in the discussions.”
Then he added that everything depends on the Canadiens’ needs, the style of the game, and the intended usage.
“Jared does indeed have a good shot while also being able to create offense, but he brings more than that,” Vincent explained.
“He can play physically, and his toughness brings tempo to the lineup, which people maybe didn’t know. His game is progressing.”
Alex Belzile, who played alongside him, summed it up simply:”He’s open-minded, he looks to improve. Right from the start, that’s a winning trait. It shows his head is in the right place.”

It’s not just his shot that stands out, but everything he can do.
He can play center or wing.
On the power play or the penalty kill on a third line or in an energy role.
When I watch him play, I find that his offensive intelligence stands out so clearly.
For me, he’s exactly the kind of player the Habs like to test when an opportunity comes up. I’m not saying it’s happening right away, but the door is clearly open.
The question then becomes simple.
And more importantly, for what role?
