(St. Paul, MN) — Wild goaltender Jesper Wallstedt turned in a shutout as Minnesota blanked the Calgary Flames 2-0 at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul last night. The Wild goaltender saved all 35 shots he faced in the victory, while Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov each scored goals. Minnesota is in sixth place in the N-H-L Central Division with 17 points, sitting at 7-7-and-3. The Flames dipped to 4-11-and-2 on the year. Calgary netminder Devin Cooley had 17 saves in the losing effort. The Flames have dropped their last two games. Minnesota forward Marcus Johansson played in his 1000th career N-H-L game and registered an assist. The Wild entertain the San Jose Sharks tomorrow night at 7 P-M.
