Nashville Predators
The Predators have recalled forward Joakim Kemell from the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals.
Kemell, 21, has one goal and six points in six games with Milwaukee. In two appearances with Nashville this season, he has zero points.
A first-round pick (17th overall) by Nashville in 2022, he had 19 goals and 40 points in 65 AHL games last year.
The Predators are in action Monday night taking on the New York Rangers.
Montreal Canadiens
Captain Nick Suzuki is not practising this morning in favour of a therapy day.
Suzuki leads Montreal in points with 20 points in 15 games. He had a 12-game point streak come to an end in Thursday’s 4-3 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils but he scored a goal and was a +3 in Saturday’s win over Utah.
The Canadiens host the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday night at the Bell Centre.

Boston Bruins
Defenceman Charlie McAvoy is back at practice this morning after missing Saturday’s 5-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs for personal reasons.
McAvoy was skating with Nikita Zadorov on the team’s top pair.
The 27-year-old has 12 assists in 16 games this season for Boston, his ninth with the team.
The Bruins have won six straight games and are second in the Atlantic Division. They will face the Maple Leafs again on Tuesday night.

New York Rangers
Forward Vincent Trocheck is back in a regular jersey centering the second line at the Rangers’ morning skate between Artemi Panarin and Alexis Lafreniere.
He was also taking part in PP2 drills in the bumper spot.
Trocheck has missed the past 14 games with an upper-body injury. He was injured in the team’s second game of the season against the Buffalo Sabres on Oct. 9, as he exited the game after playing 7:48 with one assist.
The 32-year-old was practising on Thursday but was wearing a no-contact jersey.
