Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers took on the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night, aiming to grab a 3-1 lead in their second-round Stanley Cup Playoffs series.
McDavid entered the game looking like the same player who led Edmonton to last year’s Stanley Cup Final, where he won the Conn Smythe Trophy after tallying 42 points. So far this postseason, the three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner had already racked up three goals, 13 assists, and 16 points.

Oilers forward Adam Henrique scored twice early, and defenseman Evander Kane added another as Edmonton shut out Vegas 3-0. Connor McDavid chipped in with an assist on the team’s third goal.
McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, was in attendance at Rogers Place, cheering on her husband. At one point, she took to social media to show off her Game 4 outfit.
Lauren sported the navy blue Oilers Wives and Girlfriends (WAG) playoff jacket, featuring McDavid’s number 97 on the upper left side and “Oilers Playoffs 2025” on the right. On the back, the Sports Club Atelier jacket read “Edmonton Oilers Hockey” with “McDavid” below it.
The 28-year-old wore a white tank top underneath, pairing the jacket with jeans. She accessorized with a burgundy belt, a burgundy purse, gold jewelry, and slicked-back hair.

According to ESPN Bet, the Golden Knights are slight favorites at -130, while the Oilers sit at +110.
