For the first time since the brawl at Madison Square Garden on April 3rd, the New Jersey Devils (16-9-2) visit their rival, the New York Rangers (13-9-1) on Monday night, their first meeting in the 2024-25 season.

The Rangers are going through a bit of a slump, losing five of their last six games.

The Devils, however, have won four of their last six and continue to fight for the top of the Metropolitan Division.

Barring a last minute call-up, Matt Rempe won’t be in the mix as he’s playing for the Rangers American Hockey League affiliate.
